Enteric Human Diseases

Over 50 million Canadians and Americans are sickened, hospitalized or die of the following kinds of digestive disorders causing diarrhea each year. These include: Irritable-bowel-syndrome or IBS, inflammatory-bowel-disease or IBD, Ulcerative Colitis, Celiac Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Pancreatitis, various strains of Shigella, Salmonella, Listeria, C-Difficle, E Coli and E-coli Infections Travelers Diarrhea and other others are infected with Staphylococcus, Clostridium, Botulism, Rotavirus, Leptospirosis, Mycoplasma and more.

Despite efforts to reduce the presence of dangerous pathogens in Canadian food and water from Salmonella, E. coli, Campylobacter, Yersinia, Listeria, Shigella, Vibrio, Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora, Giardia, Norovirus, Rotavirus, and others continue to cause gastrointestinal, or enteric, disease in Canada. Globally diarrhea kills 2,195 children every day. That’s more than AIDS, malaria, and measles combined. It’s like losing nearly 32 school buses full of children each day! The reemergence of tuberculosis (TB), which now kills about 4,100 people every single day or like losing over 60 school buses of children every day. This is why our proposed clinical trials using Universal Diapak as a powder and Universal Gumpak could help reduce this global problem with gum being a easier means to deliver immunity.

More than 20 million Canadians suffer from digestive disorders every year and these digestive disorders cost $18 billion (2000) annually in health care costs and lost productivity. These Digestive disorders can be treated or prevented with our Universal Diapak, designed to help treat and prevent multitudes of enteric diseases.

According to CDC’s Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion foodborne illnesses are a burden on public health and contribute significantly to the cost of health care. US CDC (Center of Disease Control) reports each year foodborne illnesses sicken 48 million Americans (approximately 17% of people in the United States) and lead to 128,000 hospitalizations and 3,000 deaths.

Neuroimmunology

While our research has been going on it has been recently discovered that immunity of the gut plays a major role of control of disease. One University of Virginia team of researchers determined that the immune system affects – and even controls – social behavior and this discovery could enormous implications in autism and schizophrenia. In their studies they found there is a blocking of a single type of immune molecule that made mouse brains go hyperactive and caused abnormal behavior and that thus, – pathogens and the immune system may play a part of our personality may actually be dictated by the immune system. How do they know? When they restored the immune molecule it fixed the mice. A product is planned for their trials and to work with institutes globally to find a universal product that could help treat and prevent neuro-immunological diseases.

HIV Cancer and Immunodeficiency

HIV/AIDS and some other 250 or more immune deficient diseases as well as most cancer patients do not die from the disease itself, but from a lack a of immunity to many pathogens or diseases blowing in the air, in water or from door knobs or other things we touch.

The current Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) told a major USA newspaper recently that “HIV/AIDS, for example … attacks the body’s immune system, which plays an important role in surveillance against cancers,” and “If you have a weakened immune system, you’re more likely to be at risk for certain types of cancers.”

The UK Society of Cancer says: “There is a lot of research going on into using immune system therapies to treat cancer. Immunotherapy is a type of biological therapy. Biological therapies use natural body substances or drugs made from natural body substances to treat cancer. Immunotherapies are treatments that use your immune system. They are helpful in cancer treatment because cancer cells are different from normal cells and so can be picked up by the immune system.”

Superbugs

Today with both human and animal diseases there is an over use of, and a resistance to the development of superbugs created by abuse of antibiotics and antimicrobials. With our technology, at least in animals, for now, vaccines nor antibiotics do not need to be used. If ever in the future, a single or multiple new pathogen(s) are identified a new strain(s) (BLUE LINK goes to UIOAP Explanation) of that disease can be turned into an antibody can be added to various packages, thereby effectively binding the new pathogen or superbug. Clinical trials with Universal Orpak will determine efficacy in humans also.

World Health Organization (WHO)

Currently the WHO is trying to implement a plan that can better cope with LMIC’s or Limited and Middle Income Countries for potential platforms to support development and production of health technologies for priority infectious diseases with epidemic potential which we have developed. Trials of multiple diseases in one package for humans will be the perfect solution for the African continent.

Soon we’ll be ready to work with major restaurant, beverage and gum companies or chains and farmers who manufacture drinks who provide animals for human consumption in beef dairy, pork, chicken industries to eliminate use of antimicrobials and end the age of abuse of antibiotics, superbugs, Mastitis, travelling diseases and other threats and this onslaught of human and animal diseases.
